This is the story of Hopfgarten to listen to on your mobile phone or your MP3 player while walking around and exploring the 650 year old market town. With "Hörspaziergänge" in your headphones, the environment turns into a big open-air museum and there is much to discover....

Three routes you can choose. Each has its own charm and different topics or a different focus:

Route 1 - Historical Centre
Route 2 - Scenic Route to the Hohe Salve (mountain and sports)
Route 3 - Achenpromenade Hörbrunn (cultural monuments and industrial history)

All together you can listen to 37 stories with the original voices of witnesses and experts from Hopfgarten and the area of Brixental like archaeologist Dr. Alexander Zanesco, the geographer Hans Peter Hoeck, former mayor of Hopfgarten Karl Huber and Christoph Grassmayr from the Bell Museum in Innsbruck,

Along with the narrator Eleanor Cantor and John Higgins you can take a look behind the scenes. You can meet a Tyrolian bridge troll, a holy man who was ousted from a bridge in Prague and the giant of the mountain of the Hohe Salve in person.
